Why this is an opportunity

Same dateBoth programs run the evening of September 29, 2026.

Shared Sukkot themeTwo separate Sukkot celebrations within the same holiday week.

Audience overlap needs confirmationHillel serves students and young adults; West Island serves young adults and community members. The size of the shared segment has not been verified.

Conflict risk62Moderate

Same date, same holiday and a shared young-adult segment mean the two events likely compete for the same attendees and for volunteer capacity. Travel between downtown and the West Island makes attending both unrealistic.

Synergy potential86High

A shared Sukkot theme, complementary venues and one combined promotion push could grow total reach instead of splitting it. A shuttle or staggered start would let young adults join both.

Mandate alignment

Aligns with Hillel's holiday-experience mandate and West Island's belonging and partnership goals. A joint Sukkot moment supports both without either team giving up its own audience.
